Electronic Devices

If a student brings an electronic device to school such as a phone, iPod, or tablet that connects to the internet, the device must remain powered off and in a backpack or locker the whole time the student is at school, unless the student receives special permission from a teacher to get out the device and turn it on. The same is true on field trips.

Earbuds and Headphones

Students may use earbuds or headphones only in study hall, or with teacher permission in a class. During study hall, students may use earbuds or headphones to listen to appropriate music. If any student chooses inappropriate music, music privileges will be revoked for all students.
